卫星物联网不但可以实现对传统地面物联网的补充,还具有一些自身独特的优势,比如推动低空经济的发展、对自然灾害有更强的耐受力。面向作为卫星物联网市场中坚力量的窄带卫星物联网业务,3GPP于Rel-17首次制定了“基于非地面网络来支持窄带物联网业务”的IoT NTN国际标准。聚焦于3GPP IoT NTN的接入网,先介绍于2024年6月正式发布的3GPP Rel-18中的技术进展,然后概述3GPP Rel-19中的技术议题,最后描述对3GPP Rel-20+中技术发展趋势的展望。
Satellite IoT not only plays a supplemental role when there have been deployments of terrestrial IoT
but also has some unique advantages
such as promoting the development of low-altitude economy
having a greater tolerance to natural disasters. Aiming at narrow-band satellite IoT services which dominates the market for satellite IoT
in Rel-17
3GPP issued international standard for IoT NTN for the first time with which NTN can support narrow-band IoT services. Focusing on RAN for 3GPP IoT NTN
this paper will firstly summarize the technical progress in 3GPP Rel-18 which has been officially published in 2024 June
then introduce the technical topics in 3GPP Rel-19
and finally look into the technology trend in 3GPP Rel-20+.
